Ohara Museum of Art
Founded in 1930 (Showa 5) by the Kurashiki businessman Ohara Magosaburo, this is Japan's first private museum focused on Western art. Built on works that the painter Kojima Torajiro collected in Europe, it holds many modern Western paintings.
